O.K., so, I didn't see the Sistine Chapel when it was painted, nor was I there when Christianity got its start and I can't say I remember the time when the Constitution of the United States was drawn up. However..
However, I saw Muhammad Fight, saw Mickey Mantle hit a home run and sat quietly when Frank Sinatra belted out a Cole Porter tune. And, when the mini-skirt became fashionable, all the wise guys on the Brooklyn corner fell in love with Elvis and the sound of 'Love Me Tender'.
And the computer has enabled me to chat with people from all around the globe. So, I have no complaints about being here and now and as stated on Sinatra's tombstone...The Best is Yet to Come.
I am living the best time in history because I am part of that history.
Great question....
