The answer depends on the ages of the people involved. If you are minors, I would say it's not an appropriate gesture.

I think he should either buy you a gift or give you a gift certificate. Unless you're really strapped for cash I think it's kinda tacky.

i dont think so because if he does and if your parents find it they are going to ask you were it came from and you are going to get in trouble its better to say no and to keep it tell him he can get you something more like a present beause if his parents find out he is going to get in troouble trust me that is wat happened to me !!!
