That's crap.
We are for helping those who can't help themselves, like kids. You see liberals care about kids after they are born, not just before.

I don't defend perverts, but I do defend the right of gay people should be able to live their lives the way they want.

I don't defend terrorists, but I think when the president starts rounding up people and locking them up without charges or any court oversight. That sounds more like the Soviet union than America. How to I know they are terrorists and not just people Bush does not like.

Be honest. If Bill Clinton has started locking people up in Cuba and didn't let congress or the courts review it, there would be no end to the Republican squawking about the Constitution and "due process"

Yes you are, you are missing the whole picture. We Liberals do not defend the bum, pervert or terrorists and I would like to see you present solid facts to prove that! Not innuendo, facts. Why do you think we support terrorists? Because we disagree with the war in Iraq? You darn right we do. If GWB our peerless leader had gone into Afghanistan with everything we have( short of nuclear) we would have backed him 100%. Let me present the logic of that statement. Osama- Saudi- operates out of Afghanistan- pilots - Saudis- with Al Qaida. Al Qaida based in Afghanistan. Ergo go get em where they live!! Tell the Saudis to clean up their act and if necessary level all the mountains in Afghanistan until we get the money man Osama!! Iraq had nothing to do with the attack on the USA. He was a nasty dictator, maybe he even backed the Taliban but they are not Al Qaida either! Even GWB admits he was wrong.. Learn the truth before you spout nonsense.

You are missing a lot. Like tolerance for one. "Libs" don't "always" do anything as a group. Have you not listened to the other things they are saying? Or perhaps (God forbid) listened for reasons that they state about the groups you spoke of. Open your mind. No, I'm not a "Lib". In fact some would call me ultra conservative.

I find it interesting that the conservatives ask such questions of the liberals because they don't agree with their frame of mind. And the liberals do the same thing to the conservatives. All because they disagree.

Liberals tend to like to see justice done right. See, allow them to go through their trial before condeming someone. That is why liberals appear to "defend" those you named.

God help us all if this country ever falls into the hands of this person!

I don't think all liberals do. The loud ones who think they are "caring, thoughful, sensitive" people seem to pride themselves on defending anyone they feel is "downtrodden".

It's the old hippie thing: you gotta love your fellow man.

Many of them ... the vocal ones on the extreme left ... seem to equate that with absolving those groups of responsibility. To them, it's all the fault of the GOP and/or the wealthy.

They seem to think those groups would not be the way they are if they weren't held down/put down so much by the rest of us.

I agree with you on how pitiful those people are ... but I'm not willing to group ALL liberals into that group.

Because they know there is more than meet the eye, they know to measure before cutting, and analise, before concluding; as opposed to xenophobe no-cons who shoot down everything they can't explain or seemingly threatens their routines
