Hello San:
Sounds to me like you are really having a
difficult life. Sorry, and how can we help?
Some of us out here can identify 100% with
you. Really. When you are down, wow down
doesn't even count as a word describing the
pain hey....

Some of my thoughts. I think the world
changed for me, and my passion for finding
a purpose happened when I searched and
searched for something I deeply believed in.....
hobby/passion. Some area in life that really
excites you, and sometimes this may be
difficult because of your living situation....
finances, et cetera.....

But I discovered that there are always,
always people out there worse off and in
need of some loving, attention in general.
I started to look outside my 'box' of thinking,
and I slowly found answers to make me feel
more at peace. Peace is a better reality, as
happy can be a temporary feeling, can come
and go.
Peace is something that you gather into your
heart with thought/pondering , something that
you alone discover and hold and believe deep
inside. It won't go. You can recapture it when
you think/ponder.

Love yourself, respect yourself, no matter how
little, just for this moment. It will grow and grow,
if you want it too.

We are in a 'fast' fix society, and well, all the pills,
sex, etc won't fill that 'ponder moment' and give
you peace. Never.

Go somewhere, doesn't matter, but somewhere
that means something to you....a basement,
a closet, a water way, a bush, a cafe and be
just with yourself and ponder what you are all
about. Think about what is special about you,
and think about it for awhile. It is difficult for
awhile, and our society doesn't cater to this
way of thinking anymore.

Hey, and note when you are out some day,
how many 'elderly folks' are just sitting
somewhere, sitting and doing nothing --
appearingly nothing! They are pondering....
and note the little smile and twinkle that
appears sometimes in their face....ummmm

That is what they are doing just for themselves;
pondering and well, appreciating their thoughts.

luv
and thoughts
Ava

There is a point to living. Getting there
can be a bugger...**

To most people it provides entertainment and the chance to contribute to society. There are people clinging to lives that have nothing more than machines keeping them going. They endure pain beyond most imagination and yet find it possible to thank God for what they have. People around you look to you for things and just having you gives them something. Whatever has you down in the dumps will pass and there will be bright spots to look forward to. Take the time to appreciate how lucky you are for what you have instead of brooding over temporary downers in your life. The point of life is giving. You may save the life of someone and change history. Think about that.

If you're serious, your quesion is kind of scary. It's scary because if you're not feeling life has a "point", you sound a little depressed at best, and suicidal at worst. Depression can be overcome, but if you're feeling suicidal, please get some help.

I feel the purpose of life is to love, to dream, to hope - just experience all the good things life has to offer. Still, life can be really difficult sometimes. If the reason you asked this question is because yours is really difficult right now, please know that things will get better for you. Sometimes you just have to take life one (albeit crappy) day at a time. If you need help in making your life better, please ask for that help. Counseling can really change ones outlook on life.

Feel better - you have your whole life ahead of you!
