I'm looking for tennis courts as well - I think the ones at Billesely Common in Kings Heath are free - or so they should be as per the .gov website. The ones at the University of Birmingham cost £3.50 to book and use - but that comes with a £109 membership fee. Hope it helps!

Give them a ring to find out. The other website address gives details of other tennis courts run by Birmingham City Council. Click on Leisure and put tennis in the search bit.
