Please help me get rid of a site on my menu bar under the http line?

Question

I do not know how to delete a site on my menu bar on my MAC OSX powerbook, which is just below the http line... Please advise as I am a newbie. Thanks. Judi

to clean up the address bar:
click start (the one on the left hand side of your computer)
then right click internet explorer
choose internet properties
on general tab >click clear history

Assuming you're using Safari: Click and drag it off the bar (bookmark bar). You can also re-arrange the bookmarks by click and drag. Click on the "Show All Bookmarks" button, and you can rename and edit the URL of all your bookmarks.
