We have beautiful weather here this summer, so I did indeed have a very nice day. And the previous days and weeks were also very positive.
But I never sunbathe, since it is very bad for people's skin and can cause skin cancer. I rather sit happily in the shade and read a good book or follow - as I did today - a game of Cricket.

I went punting on the river in Oxford today, and it was truly beautiful! the way the sunlight dapples on the water, and the cooling breeze away from the stilfering heat on the streets! EVERYONE TRY IT!!!

far far too hot just relaxing really doing bugger all but sit at computer answering questions. oh and make some dinner too hot for tea just yet
