the reason why I ask is because he doesn't seem to be a bad person, maybe not the nicest, but why does he get booed so much more than anyone else? people love to say he's gay, and they hate when he wins. But he wins all the time.
Could him being good contribute to the hatred?

He's a whiny-assed-B&tch. He's a nasty person. and he hates his fans.

Prime example: He just had an appearance here last weekend at a local dirt track. He was supposed to be here for 3 hours. and sign a MINIMUM of 50 autographs. He signed 5 and left less than an hour after he got here.

Why you ask? There were too many skeeters

It is really funny that the Jeff "haters" all seem to say the exact same thing, as if they are on a recording. They never seem to have an original thought. I don't know why people keep saying he whines. I hear so much complaining from nearly all the drivers I can't see how one person can be singled out. There is a difference in making comments, explainations, and flat out whining. if a person makes a comment that is true, how can someone call it whining?

People who are fans of Dale, Jr. are mostly transfers from Dale, Sr. Dale Sr. thought the world of Jeff and vice-versa so why they dislike Jeff I don't know.

As far as the gay thing. Unless someone on here has personal experience, I think they need to stop making the accusations as if they are fact. And even if it were true, what does that have with his abiltiy to race and win? Stop being so libelous and judgemental.

Before the accusations began about being gay, the comments were always that he "hadn't paid his dues", in other words, he should have lost a bunch a races so the veterans could win. Yeah, right.

He gets booed a lot but when you are the highest money maker in racing history and you have surpassed Dale Sr. winning numbers, some people just gotta have something to boo about.

Because he cries too much. He was just complaining a few weeks age when HIS OWN TEAM MATE Jimme Johnson was racing him. On the radio saying someone should "talk to him" about getting ME 3 wide. WHO'S he THINK he is? Another thing that's funny, last yr (or year before, cant remember exaclty) he was leading (or in the top) and a piece of the track comes up & hits his raidiator, or something. Takes him out of the race, He cries & then imagine that "wins" the next race. With a controversial finish. HMMMMM..... can we say whine bag!!!!! And when you see him in your mirror you should know that he's gonna bump you to move you, but you better be careful trying that bump draft on him! BLUCKA!!!! I say!!!! He makes me SICK!

He recently was on Make a wish foundation on ESPN, he is trying to change his image, I mean he's a big market for racing, What I don't understand is how Dale Earndhart Jr. hasn't won a major race and still make so much money, oh well. Yeh, the nascar fans don't like guys who ***** a lot, and that's what Jeff Gordon does, he complains like a little baby to the Media, he gets really pissed whenver someone bumps him and cries about it, but he's like the biggest dirty driver of them all, he bumps everyone and it pisses everyone off. Nascar fans want drivers who are tough, not a bitchy *** dirty driver.

Patticakes is wrong.. it's not jealousy... why would anyone be jealous of a whiny-@ss who acts like a crybaby everytime he opens his mouth.. he can't even win without complaining about something that happened to him during the race.. just like when he was giving an interview today.. he commented Matt was upset last week just like I was when this happened to me @ yada yada yada.. it has nothing to do with whether he's gay or not or how good he is.. it's all about his attitude... he's always the wronged party no matter what the situation...

That is because everyone knows that he is the best and his career is outstanding! The only ones that are booing are the ones that are not Jeff Gordon fans.

The main reason is jealousy. Alot of drivers never accomplish the things Jeff Gordon already has, plus, he is not the typical race driver. I think he is the best active driver there is.

I guess because he's not the stereotypical NASCAR driver. The funny thing is Dale Earnhardt knew he was the future & alot of his fans boo Jeff.In some peoples minds he was too good too soon.Dale Sr. was my favorite & Jeff became mine.Sr. liked him & thats good enough for me.He is a damn good driver.I like Jr. but I'm not the bandwagon type.In a nut shell it is jealoucy. The gay thing is a product of that.Look at his fiance.

First of all he has a woman hugged up at ever race he was married and one time. And if he would race fair he would not get booed.

because he is a cheating dirty driver that whines and makes excuses for his bad behavior and for when he sucks. he doesn't take responsibility for his actions. AND because nascar does not hold him responsible for his actions and anybody else gets fined $$ and points for doing the same stuff he continuously gets away with! its not hatred, but lack of respect because he hasn't earned it.
