I think blacks and asians cause just as many racial problems as whites these days. Has anyone seen the film with Ashton Kutcher thats a bit like meet the parents? He's dating a black girl and the family dont like it cos he's white. Its socially acceptable to make a comedy about the scenario yet if it were a white family shunning a black man I doubt a comedy would be as socially accepted?!
I know there are a lot if ignorant white people who are racist - but no-one accepts that there is a lot of ignorant racists who are black and asian. I saw a job advert in the Bristol Evening Post for a museum which I circled to apply for. When I rang up I was told that they are only looking for someone from an 'ethnic minority'. Again, imagine it was the other way round and a black man was turned away and told only white's need apply. A week later there was a half-page report about the ad questioning if it was rascist or not?!
And lets not forget the Uni student who was branded a racist (and almost excluded!) for displaying a St Georges flag, when a Brazilian, South African and German flag were all permitted as 'part of the heritage'. Or the bar extensions in England for Chinese New Year, St.Patricks day and US Independence Day - yet St.Geroges day is refused on the grounds that to grant an extension would be too nationalistic. Why cant Brit's be proud of their heritage?!
Lets change the ignorance in the wolrd - but if we are truly not recognising race then lets change the ignorance of ALL races.

"yes, especially the whites most of them dont like intergrating with other races. "
Not true at all, don't know what countries you are from but in the UK its so common to have "communities" of ethinic imigrants who can't even speak english and don't try.
Often its the women as their culture tells them to stay at home and look after the family so they never expose themselves to the culture that was already here. Instead it is more common for 2nd and 3rd generation children to integrate as they are schooled in mixed classes. However as these comunities, often muslim but not exclusively, like to live in the same areas they don't necessarily get mixed schooling as the areas where they live may not have many white or black families.

I think there is a lot of room for improvement!
I don't find race to be an issue, but there are many people who are still racist in this country. These people then pass this racism on to their children and the same groups of people become racist. My parents always taught me to be accepting of everyone and never said anything about race. This is how everyone should be with their children! And it is not just one race that is normally racist, there are racist people among all races.

yes and it is very sad! we need t work together to make all races equal, as white man i understand the struggle that is put on all whites to try to be equal, other races should be open to us, we have Spanish tv Asian tv and black tv and they come as sports, music, news, entertainment, well give us a chance! absolutely, each race seems to have defined there own culture and niches in this country and expect each other to deal with it and can not understand why there is still racial hatred, well if you continue to separate yourselves, and create voids in the cultural mix, your just going to make wiping out racism that much harder

I think people just hang out with who they feel comfortable with. Maybe people aren't so much trying to hang out with their own race as people who think and feel like they do because it is more comfortable. And maybe that usually ends up being your own race because they feel and act more like people in your own family. So you're not really consciously or purposely hanging out with people accordingly to what they look like but how closely their values and ideas match yours.

No. There is not too much. Maybe racism.
There is nothing wrong with favoring your own heritage. You should be proud of it. Interracial ralationships are fine too.
