When Isreal has struck in Lebanon it seems they indeed have a target in mind such as Hizbollah's head quaters in Beruit, the airport to shut down transportation routes, the house of the leader of Hizbollah, etc. But when Hizbollah fires a missle into Israel it seems more hap hazard. Are they aiming at anything in particular than just a populated area? Is this another example of terrorist tactics?

M_A_saBet, you have given me a few possible motives but not the execution of these motives into action.

bcptm, maybe an addendum to this question should be aren't whether they ever aim at a target but do they intend wreck general havoc, i.e. kill civilians and destroy infrastructure in general? They made a statement that expressed their nexts targets would be in places that had less or no mercy on civilians.

KHALID, i don't believe Israel is targeting civilians. It is among other things bad P.R. They are however using powerful weapons to target Hezbollah which has nestled inself around the populace using them as human shields. Maybe Israel should give in for the sake of civilians or change tactics but it is nothing but regurgitated propaganda that Israel as a matter of policy wants to kill civilians.

I would imagine Jews would be a likely target.

Depends on what orders they have been given from Iran!

And to think I had the utmost of respect for a once grand civilization of the Persians (Zoarastrians)...a pity that Iran has sunk under the weight of the Islamic fundamentalist curse.

~I just checked with my cousin Abdul who is a Raad-3 missle stuffer for Hezbollah. He said they're just playing around. It's only target practice. They really didn't mean to hit the train station in Haifa and kill all those people; they were aiming at Saul's deli. He also said that he's worried because next they're aiming for Abe's Bait and Tackle Shop but it's located right next to the Haifa petrochemical installations. And they certainly didn't mean to hit Israel's warships; they were aiming at the fish.

Oh well, I guess they need more practice.

Yes. When HEZBOLLAH (not HIZBOLLAH) fires a missle, they are aiming at Isreal. They have to pick a large target, like an entire country, because they can't shoot very well. They need to work on their marksmanship.

in the first day Hezbollah leader said we targeted military bases while they targeted the civilians in street, buses, homes
making us attack them in return ,

the biggest proof is the number of casualties on both sides
more than 130 civilians were killed including 40 child under 10
and hundreds of injured people ,and of course all were purposely targeted ,
and also they could have targeted the bio-chemical factories in israel wich will coz many civilians to die even though they were perfectly capable to attack them they didn't unlike Israel which started attacking by chemical bombs tonight

now those r the real terrorists

They aim at Israelis, or whoever happens to be out there regardless of nationality. Could be a Lebanese!

Yes, they are aiming at:
1-Freeing up "Shebaa farms", which is part of the Lebanese land still occupied by Israel.
2-Liberating more than 9,000 Arab prisoners still captivated in Israel's prisons.

They aren't aiming at anything. Their intent is to kill as many Israelis as they can.
