He was already a weirdo. Angelina has nothing to do with it. He was wacky years before Angelina came into the picture. Maybe Jennifer made him that way. Anyways what is wrong with eco-friendly and energy efficient appliances? It will be better for all of us the future.

How can you say he is being kooky? His concern is for the future. If people have energy efficient homes, it will not only conserve energy, but will save the occupants money on energy costs.
How is that kooky? The thing that is more kooky, is people scamming the government to get money when they didn't even LIVE in the storm damaged areas!
Kooky is President Bush standing in front of television cameras telling everyone the "Brownie is doing a hell-of-a job", while people were still stranded there without food, or water.

i think that it is good that celebrities spend time on stuff other than their movies and money. i guess he just wanted to increase awareness of the need to take care of the eco system. and if the weird and unstable angelina is helping him to see more than himself, i think is great..this is a first step the second will be to use that energy in the right way and keep helping
