Trying to get the hose off from the faucet for a new washer that is coming in 2 days. It won't budge. WD-40 did nothing. Ideas???

Copper pipe. I am using channel-lock pliers.

Are you using a pair of channel lock, AKA water pump pliers? Have you got another tool to put on the other piece to prevent the torsion? If you have PVC pipes you HAVE to!

If you do not have a propane torch to heat it with, (gently) and the WD is close to dry, you may dribbe Coca Cola on to the threads once every 15 minutes for about two hours, then try it again.

When you get it off, clean it good with a wire brush if you have one, or another hard bristled brush, and apply vasaline for prevention of this the next time.

WD-40 is more lubricant than rust penetrant, try something like PB Penetrant, or what ever else is available in your area. It may have to set a few hours or days to get through the corrosion and rust. Then a large pairs of channel lock pliers should take it off.

Try a little heat. You need to be careful though. Being a plumber I see this a lot. The trick is go slow.
