That depends on what you mean with "Canadians". If you are talking about every Canadian everywhere in the world, then the answer is "No".
If you're asking of political reasons, then the answer has to be "Yes". To quote President Bush:
"Canada represents America's most vital trade relationship in the whole world, and we will do all that is necessary to keep that relationship strong. Yet, our ties go deeper than trade. Our community of values reaches back centuries. Canada and the U.S. may have disagreed on the wisdom of separating from the Crown, but we've always agreed on the great principles of liberty derived from our common heritage."

We do not hate you entirely we do frown upon you run your country (yet our Prime Minister is conservative) and the lifestyle but we are like most countries in the world we do hate how such a poorly manged country can have a 10 trillion dollar economy! Oh and if you are wondering we hate the french just as much as you do
You must understand that we are not a forceful nation you as Americans fought for your freedom and We as Canadians asked for it the result was two countries with completely different societies but ignorant of each other. Nevertheless Thou shall love thy neighbour.

I would say they are friends however with any other culture or society they have their disagreements on certain things such as softwood exports.
