I disagree with your conception of marriage. It is something special between a man and woman before God. A wife should never be viewed as such. She is now part of you.

The concept you're thinking about is a 'kept woman', except nowadays women work, many of them bringing in as much money as the man. And they still do most of the childcare, housework, shopping cooking, etc. Not to mention the mental drain.
Perhaps it's the man who is the expensive prostitute, the 'Kept man.'

A marriage is two people that love each other and share every aspect of their lives together including being faithful. A prostitute doesn't love you, does sexual favors for whoever pays them and does not share any aspect of your life with you except to give you pleasure.

well you cant get a prostitute to wash your clothes,or to snuggle,or to make you your favorite food, you cant pay a prosititute to be there for you when you get hurt at workand take you to your follow up appointments, you cant pay a prositute enough to get you better when you are sick, you can pay a prostitute enough to wash your clothes or to take care of your kids. a prostitue is only good for one thing and being a wife is not one of them, you cant turn a hoe into a housewife. yeah you have to take your wife out,but shouldnt you dothat anyway, yeah you have to give her money, but doesnt she buy you toilet paper(cuz you dont buy it), yeah you have to beg for sex but did you make dinner, wash the dishes, take care of the baby and do laundry all day, nope whatever a wife gets from her man she deserves it, and if you think a prositute will show you love, then go ahead and get it from her but it will cost you for one hour of her time, and a wife is there for you 24/7.

No...I don't think so. Prostitution usually involves more then one person. Marriage is "Man and Wife."

I am in TOTAL agreement, I've been throwing that idea around myself. Think of the dowry in other countries...which is supposed to be for the wife's security or to show her "high value"...look at american marriages...pre-nups...etc. etc....its an interesting thought

i think you are wrong.. you got married for the wrong reasons.. sex in marriage is cuz you love and trust each other enough to become one uncountless times until death do you part.. deep question tho.

It's all about the money? Interesting theory. Well, you do always pay for it, one way or the other.
