You haven't seen him. He doesn't do things on command. Is God really there or is he just an excuse that people use for their existance? How can you believe the stuff in the bible. A lot of it doesn't seem very practical. What do you think?

It's hard to find something when you don't know what you are looking for.
maybe we've been looking at God all along, and haven't realized it well enough to understand it.

The Bible says we have to believe by faith and not by sight.
Otherwise, what good is our faith?
I was a student of Philosophy for many years, and all I can say is that I have come to the conclusion that GOD exists, I don't need proof, I just KNOW it. (And I don't need physical/tangible proof).
I believe we're all born with an innate knowledge or sense that HE exists. The loneliness and emptiness, the "void" that we have that never quite gets satisfied by earthly things, is really a longing to KNOW GOD intimately and have a relationship with HIM. (through prayer).
Just look around you; what miracles have you seen happen, even in your own life? What do you have in your life that could possibly be from GOD?
I can't make you believe in GOD, but for me, I KNOW HE exists!

If you read the epic of Gilgamesh, it has the flood story couple of thousand years before the 'christians' stole it. Did man creat god as CG Jung suggests?

have you ever fell in love do you love anyone,love is god,people searching for god are search for love and acceptence for who they are with no strings attached,those who scream at heavely skys asking god why have you forsaken me,why did you let me be born,why do you let evil do evil things,are the people that need love andacceptence the most,we do things we are ashamed ,try to hide it with in us ,instead of confessing to a friend family member,preacher,etc they let fester adding up all the bad stuff we try to hide from other then they sceam there is no god where is he because they are angry or lonely,scaredor all of them,the same people are afriad to love someone uconditionaly ,love some without strings ,sex,advice,money,comfort,love someone without exspecting these things you will find god love is god

Thats a good question. I wonder the same thing. I guess it all really comes down to what you really belivie. No one will really know untill scientific eveidence or a sighthing by many people has happend.
