The first time I used the internet was in July 1998. I was exploring emails and stuff. I was 13 y/o then.

I started running my own Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) sites in early 80's and that was way before Internet became popularised. I vaguely remember the first stumble of Internet at a friends' place during the early 90's. During that time, most of the sites looked quite similar to BBSes text based. They do not carry so much graphics like what you see right now. Over the years, the Intenet evolution is remarkable.

I think I started going online when I was 8. I think some of the first sites I visited were nick.com and yahoo.com.
I was at home, and that was 6 years ago (I am 14)
I guess 8 might seem young, but I am pretty mature and my parents trust me. I have been staying home alone since I was 7, and my mom just had twins about a year ago so I have kinda been forced to grow up quickly.

I believe I was at school and they were teaching us how to use the computers they had just bought with government grants. My teacher wanted us to learn how to research on the computer. I was about 9 or 10, and I am 19 now.

It took me awhile, but in 2000. I was 32. My wife had just come to this country and she needed to check her emails, because she did understand better thanI did at the time. We went to the public library and I signed up on Hotmail. I started checking out Genforum boards at Genealogy.com. Thank God we finally got it in our home that year. I now use it more now than she does.

my official use was about 6 years ago, the year 2000.
i had recently gotten dial up internet. i was about 16 years old, and i was signing up for my yahoo email, which i still use up to this same day.
dial up really sucked!

about 9 years ago, had to find out about all the fuss, I was 14 i think, in a internet cafe-slow connection, bad computer:(

1997 Just got AOL dial up...it would take a looooooooong time to get in! I was 30 at the time
