It's funny how we as fans and audiences support them when they make movies and such and such. However, they never come out of Hollywood. You never see them in ordinary cities among ordinary people. They're in their own little world. Give back to the people I'd say. Your fans would enjoy your company and would very much like to see them visiting their cities. It would be good for public relations, media, and would be a moral booster for aspiring actors trying to make it big as well. Kids in foster homes, crippled children, etc. it just would be good to see the Hollwood stars visit cities and do things like this. I know they have family and it's hard to spend time with them but once in a month wouldn't kill anyone to do this. What do you think on this as well?

Considering that everywhere they go, they are followed by paparazzi and their entire everyday lives are videotaped, even if they don't want it, I can totally understand whey they keep to themselves. Plus, a lot of them have stalkers and many have children. Being a celebrity isn't all it's cracked up to be. If i had a chance to trade places with a celebrity, I 'd say no. I like my privacy and anonimity. Some celebrities do those kinds of things--but a lot of it isn't reported on. Magazines sell more when there are stories on celebs that are gossip, scandal or sex. Good deeds don't get reported on that often. It just doesn't sell well. But that certainly doesn't mean that they aren't out there helping. Many also do it quietly so they aren't bombarded by press. They are giving their time without needing to be publically documented as doing such.

I can name plenty of celebrities that put in appearances in many parts of the world--and in many cities around the U.S.
They are often called out to attend or host major charity functions or show up at parties. It is routine for a lot of them to visit children's hospitals and the like--because they WANT to give back to the community. Almost all of them donate substantial amounts of their fortunes to charities as well. (Think Britain's royal family, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Nicholas Cage, Tom Cruise, and the rest of their ilk.)
You just haven't been paying much attention to the media coverage when they DO go out. The rest of the time they refrain from leaving their comfort zones, because they know the paparazzi will follow....which, even for Britain's royalty, gets intolerable after awhile.

You haven't been stalked before, have you? Lots of weirdos out there. John Lennon was shot walking on the street.
Angelina Jolie went to Africa to do charity work. A lot of celebrities support various charities and not-for-profit orgs. Watching their movies and interviews should be motivation enough, or you can look at some theater work that they do. I've seen a couple of actors, but never bother them. They should have right to privacy, IMHO. I mean, I would not want anyone to bug me while I'm working or when I'm on vacation.

The ones that keep a low profile are smart. I get sick of hearing about Brad & Angelina, Tom Cruise, etc.

I think its their right to keep to themselves. How would you like it if some Joe came up to you every day and just started to ask you for the autograph, etc, when all you wanted to do is go out for dinner.
