If you open "My Computer," then right-click on C:, look down and click on "properties," it will show you how much space you started with, how much is in use, and how much you have left.

What type of MB are you looking for

(exp. System memory, video card, harddrive although most hard drives are in gigs not mb)?

most of the time you can find what you need by Right clicking on my computer then selecting properties there you can find out system memory and some specs.
