As a lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers, I would be excited that the Tigers won because at the beginning of the season, I would have never expected the Tigers to had made the postseason.

If the Tigers won it all I'd have a heart attack!! They'll do good to make it to the postseason (sorry) but the fold is coming. Any way you look at it, Jim Leyland has done a great job with the team and should definitely be Manager of The Year.

I would be fu**ing ecstatic!! I love Detroit sports. I'm from Michigan(About 30 minutes from Detroit) but I now live in NYC. It would be great if the Tigers won because Detroit needs some of this man. And the Tigers haven't been really good in about 20 years.......GO TIGERS!!!

Well, I am a long time tiger fan as well. But not even I ( a baseball buff ) could guess that they would be a 1st place ball club at the end of the 1st half. Though i think they will go to the ALCS i dont think they can win the world series. To win the world series i think they need to get another arm in the bullpen and another left handed bat.

Not being from or near Michigan, I am not partial toward the Tigers. But while I wouldn't be overcome with joy, I would be pleased at the thought of this "Cinderella Story" going all the way. That, and it would be nice to have someone win other than the same old teams all the time.

The Tigers dont have the depth to continue playing this well. They will start losing at the end of the season and get the wild card spot just because they started out strong, but they will lose quickly.

I agree, I'm a Tigers fan and I wouldn't be surprised to see them win it all with the way their playing now...4 1/2 games up on the Sox. It's nice to see the boys playing great baseball.

i does no longer be suprised. they have the potential to attain over one thousand runs, and doubtless wreck the only season checklist. in spite of the shown fact that, thier pitching is particularly of a question mark because of the fact they want Willis, Robertson, Rogers, and Bonderman to have extra desirable years than final. besides, the bullpen isn't that sturdy (if the only stable pitcher is Jones, you have issues). With thier flaws, they are nonetheless between they are interior the appropriate 5 with a huge gamble of triumphing the sequence. people who like the SF Giants. they'll suck this 365 days.

I think it would be great for them, better them than Either Sox. They're one of the oldest continuous teams, they haven't won it in over 20 years. I'd rather see my teams win (Mets or Yankees), but if it's not them, I'd rather see Detroit than any other team, except maybe the Cubs, but we all know that's not happening.

Evacuate. The burning police cars will be all over the city. Head to Windsor. Head for the hills.
