would be surprising, considering they havent missed since 1990, but after the way they played in the first half, they dont look like a playoff team, right now, the wild card looks like a possibility for the braves considering there really is no favorite right now for the NL wild card, but if they missed, would be pretty disappointing for me.

IIts about time someone else won the Division. They went from being the joke of Baseball to a perennial powerhouse practically overnight. They won the division 14 yrs in a row which is unheard of these days. They are old but will be back strong at some point. They have a first class front office and a great Manager. The only downside to their run was the only won 1 world series.

I'd be happy, maybe then the NL East Division winner might actually go to the World Series, and even win it. In 14 Division titles, the Braves only went to 4 World series (.285), and of the 4 won only one (.250). They choke under pressure.

i wouldn't be that surprised since the way they've played the first half. but it would be weird, because they have won the division since like 1990 or something. and it also wouldn't make a difference if they weren't in the playoffs, they don't ever seem to be making a lot of noise come october anyway.

It would not surprise me at all. In fact, I don't expect the Braves to be around come October.

They're one of the teams that has been to the World Series the most times, so it would be okay if they didn't get to post this year.
You can't win 'em all. : )

I'd be happy. When they get to post season, they can't do anything in it. They are always very disappointing.
