The turtle needs some sand to lay the eggs in. After the egg is laid, it's work is done, and has nothing else to do with it. The sand has to be moist so the egg will not dry up, but not so wet that the embryo will drown. The cooler the sand, the longer it will take to hatch out. A basement might be damp enough to hatch the egg out, but it has to be warm enough. I only hatch out bird eggs, and don't know much about turtle eggs.

easy if you're new to the turtle world find breeders or pet shops that will take care of it and sell it to them and make some cash or just simply give it to them. Or leave the eggs take the male out of the cage (if its in there) Make sure you dont touch the eggs. If ht emom shows any agression to the eggs simply take her out and put here in another cage. once the eggs hatch feed them and care for them like you would any of ur other turtles. (still dont put either parents in with the hatchling) If you dont want them sell them to store, breeder, put an add in the paper, and try going to www.turtlebreeding.com it mite help u. Hope i helped a lil'

Take the egg and bury it under the dirt just beneath about 5 inches and cover it up. It will hatch in about 30=45 days.

Let her hatch it and enjoy another turtle. If it isn't fertile, it will start to just rot and you can toss it.
