I am seventeen and i think I'm pregnant. I had sex a couple of weeks ago, but I used protection. My period is a week late. Will it come or will I find out I'm pregnant. If you used protection then chances are you are not pregnant. Stressing about the issue is going to make your period late, so relax. If it doesn't show up next week, then get yourself a pregnancy test. As far as your boyfriend saying he will be there for you, I would hope he would considering he is partly responsible. Just remember a baby changes EVERYTHING, you will not have the freedom that you have now and babies are tons of work. Good luck.

At seventeen being a single mom would not be the easiest thing but life is not over most guys says they will be there but 8 out of 10 times then run away they dont have to deal with it why shold they, but there are a few good guys out there and maybe u have one but dont depend on it only depend on yourself. First find out if you dont start in a week go to the dr. and get a test, and then look at your options if your not in a position to have a baby there are so many people out there that cant have kids and adoption would be a good thing-- Good luck and if your not pregant be careful in the future.

o.k hun. first you need to tell your parents that you might be pregnant. they might take it hard but let them talk. if they knew you were having sex then they might not be so harsh. if you were taking birth control then your period might be late because that is what it does. also it does not always work. on the other hand if you were using a condom it might have popped without you knowing. after you tell your parents go and get tested. if you are pregnant have the baby and keep it. if you have an abortion then you will eventually regret it for the rest of your life. if you put it up for adoption your child will think you never wanted her and will have to live her life not knowing who her real parents are. Finally don't be mad if your boyfriend ends up leaving you (not saying that he will) because in almost every situation the boyfriend says he will be there for you and when the baby comes out calls you a whore because it does not look like him. he might tell every one that it is not his and say that it could be anybodies baby. i am not saying this will happen but be careful and ready in case it does.

First of all go get a home pregancy test to find out for sure if you are or aren't. Then take it from there. If you are then you have a very big decision to make.Only you and your boy friend can decide what you want to do. Are you planning on college a baby will put a cramp into those plans. Are you emotionally and finacially able to care for a baby. Will your parents help and be supportive.

Take a test. If the result is positive, find an adult you trust. Mom or priest or best friend's mom, someone who you can talk to and trust they have your best interest at heart. Don't try to do this alone, and don't turn only to your girlfriends. They love you, but they are your age and don't have the wisdom and understanding to help you right now. If test is no, think about if you are ready to be a mother, and plan better for next time. Talk to your boyfriend, and plan SAFE SEX together.

Of course you should have his baby. Do NOT terminate the pregnancy, it's so wrong! I would suggest putting it up for adoption so it will have a loving family and you will be able to go about your life almost as normal.

second- ignore any hipocrits who start ranting
thirdly-
alrighty, don't go do anything stupid like getting married. you need to find a planned parenthood sort of resource center, and go in for a pregnancy test, wait another week to see if you get your period first though.

Usualy you should start testing after a week and even if you used birth control you can still become pregnant.

first thing is first get a test .. then go from there .. if u used the protection right your chance of preg is alot lower then if u didnt use it at all .. could be extra stress or other things ... if you are preg and your not ready to be a mommy there are lots of options best of luck
