No. The word mind in English refers to two aspects, that have separate words in many eastern languages. One is limited mind, our realm of perception, thinking ,etc, the other is often translated as heart/mind or Mind, and refers to a far more encompassing, hidden and mysterious phenomenon, that is actually beyond phenomena and language, birth and death. Some western religions consider that even this larger mind can be splintered into individual parts ,with identity, which survive the death of the body and brain, although I'm not an expert on such ideas.
In Hinduism, the individuated part ,as above,is called Atman, and the all encompassing aspect is called Brahman. The historical Buddha, refuted this idea, saying that all phenomena have 3 characteristics including 'no abiding self' ,ie all phenomena depend on other phenomena for their existance and characteristics.
The soul on the other hand is essential for balance, and is located on the bottom of your foot.

We are each of us A LIVING SOUL. The soul is the body with a spirit. The mind is wrongly assumed to be a part of this held within the brain. The mind is a part of consciousness, your individual part of consciousness. This is attatched to all other beings through the spirit and reaches through out all entities all the way to God. We are all one in the Spirit, and we are all reliant on the one physical body that is the Earth. There is total connection between us all both physically and spiritually.
There is NO SEPERATENESS. WE ARE ALL ONE.

I do not think that is the same thing. Your mind understands that and that is why you ask this question. Sometimes your mind tells you to do stuff that your soul/heart do not agree.

Thee is nothing same in this world. It is different. Conceptually and existentially. Mind exists in the presence of certain factors. and changes with external influences. Soul doesn't exist.

The soul(a non changing existence of any living being). There is nothing unchangeable/constant in this world or universe. So the very concept of soul the way we think now is wrong.

Your 'Soul' was a term devised by religious philosophers as a means of keeping the ignorant and un-educated satisfied with very little. It is thanks to the mind, continued education and questioning that we have the means to discuss these issues in an open forum without fear of retribution

I think a mind without knowledge of God is dorment concerning that part of the mind .
Once that part of the mind is introduced to God, which will happen to all minds of all mankind in this life or hereafter, it is called the soul.

I think your soul is your subconcious mind. The part of your spirit that is hidden away, but which makes you you. The concious mind can overirde it, but not usual for the good.
