He is not fat he had a surgrey an wasn't allowed to do anything physical 4 like 3 months so when it was time 4 the world cup he didn't pratice wth the team at all cause he was in pain of his knee but look at him he still got up an scored he is legend an he aint fat & old he is 30 younger than beckham & roberto. He is not fat did u see pics of him early dis year? He was skinny he juss gained like a lil so i want ppl to respect him 4 a great footballer not of how they look alll ppl do dese days is judge on looks leave ronaldo ALONE!

This question amuses me. Can someone lose their talent by gaining weight? I don't think so. It's either you have the talent or you dont. Ronaldo has gained weight and obviously people will correlate that fact with Brasil's early exit from the world cup. I thought Ronaldo although not at the top of his game, played pretty well all the same.

it's simply cos he's older.
it's a known fact that we aged as our level of human growth hormone declines from a peak at 21 years old to lose as much as 80% of HGH production at 60 years old.
face it fatboy, you'll put on weight when your HGH declines...

I don;t think he's fat...he just gained a few pounds with age...I bet he's in better shape than you'll ever be!!!!!

hes just added some extra weight. i dont think hes fat, just not as fit which is why he wasnt as good in my opinion.

he is not fat. hes just older, not in the best shape of his life, and definitely not in his prime anymore.
