i met my very close friend's brother last week and can't stop thinking about him ever since. we talked for quite some time and hit it off really well. i want to go out with, but how do i find out if he likes me the same way?

people advised me to speak to my friend....what do you think i should say to her?

Tell your friend that you really like her brother and that you would like to ask him out, but you want to let her know first so she's not surprised.
Then talk to her brother and ask him out to dinner or something. Or maybe to lunch if you want to start slowly. While you're having lunch, ask him he wants to go to the movies or something while your eating.
