When I delete the default address & type www. all these different site addresses come up they are not the same addresses that are in my regular drop down menu can someone tell me how to delete the unwanted addresses in internet properties, currently set homepage addresses. Thanks a lot!

May be you can try the other way.
1. Connect to the internet as usual and start or open the new web page you want to use it as a new home page in the future.
2. Go to tools menu and click on Internet Options dialog box sub menu
3. Then from General tab box, click on USE CURRENT.
Then close the explorer and start again. you will find the new home page instead of the old one. If this is not working
1. delete all cookies and try again
2. If not again, run your antivirues programs to check for virues.
3. If not again contact me

try this ( in windows XP only ) go to these folders by the same order and be careful
1) my computer
2) c :
3) documnets and settings
4) the folder carrying your usename
5) cokies
6) when you open ( cokies ) you find many files search for the addresses you want to delete and then when the search engine found them delete them .
i hope that helps.

you can't, you have to delete history all together. You could do it but it would take you a long time and you would have to go through your cookies one by one and find the sites you don't want on there and delete them. Since you said you have a lot of different sites you probably have a butt load of cookies. Good luck.

Is this what you mean?

First, go to the page you want for your home page.

Then, click on Tools (Internet Explorer), then click Internet Options. Click the General tab. Click "use current."

That page should then be set as your default home page.

Good luck.
