Here is a GUARANTEED way of having a fixed disc:
Steps:
1) Buy a GameDoctor. They can be found at Blockbuster Video, Best Buy, and basically all places that sell videogames. It fixes some scratches on CD's.

2) If it's fixed, then good for you, you're already done. BUT, if it's not fixed then go on to step 3

3) If it's still messed up, just return the Game Doctor and say it trashed your True Crime disc, and you want a refund for the Doctor and a replacement disc for True Crime! In the end, you pay nothing for a brand new game disc!

If this works, plz choose mine as best answer, amigo

Hope that helps

You can just buy some liquid spray thing that fills in scratches and usually makes CDs/DVDs as good as new. I'm not sure of the name(s) but I'm sure they'd be easy enough to find. And those you just spray on and let sit and then wipe off with a clean cloth.

I can't say, however if the scratch is too deep the data will be corrupted and it will never play the same again.
