Do Aquarians normally get along with Capricorns and Tauruses?

One of my best friends is a Capricorn and another is a Taurus but somehow we've never really gotten along (but we're still friends :)) We're vastly different and the Taurus and I seem to always secretly think in our minds that we are better than the other one. What is the Aquarians' normal relationship with the Capricorn and Taurus signs?

Since you're an Aquarian, as am I, I'll try to answer your question. I've studied astrology for over 30 years and the part I enjoy most is the study of relationships or synastry between individuals.

As you know, your sun sign is only one part of the whole represented by the your horoscope or the chart of the heavens at your time and place of birth. Other planet configurations and the houses are also important. Then you factor in the other person's full horoscope to get the complete picture of the dynamics of a relationship. I give you this little preamble only to show you that it is more complex than simple sun sign readings, but that is all I can give you here. And it does make a difference if the pairing is of the same sex.

In general, Aquarius and Taurus don't get along. That's the simple sun-sign view. Capricorn and Aquarius are not so compatible either, from the strict sun sign comparison. Yet, Aquarius, an air sign, likes to talk, and Taurus, an earth sign, can be a good listener; that is, so long as she can remain patient with the more far-fetched ideas of her Aquarian friend. Capricorn is considered to be a more dominating influence than Aquarius may like having in general and there may be some head-butting. Both like to talk, but careful not to step on Capricorn's feet.

Now, let me just say that I was married to a Taurus girl and they are remarkably lovely creatures when they want to be. They have fine voices and are willing to work hard to get ahead. A note to your contributor above: you can buy books on basic sun sign comparison that will give you what she provided in such length. They are good for basic knowledge of sun vs. sun. But the art of synastry is not found in the sun signs, but in the charts, and for this there are not many good books anymore. Synastry requires knowing the time and place of birth, not just the date, of both parties to make the comparison. So take any based on sun signs only with a grain of salt, even my little presentation.

I'm a Capricorn, and most of my family are aquarians, if they weren't my family I would not be friends with them at all!!!!! They are rude, obnoxious, superficial, and they need to be the center of attention, also they can't make a set decision for crap! If you're friends with a Capricorn, I guarantee you (if you're the one that's the Aquarius), you've gotten on their nerves a lot and they just never said anything, because they'll wait until their anger is at a boiling point and watch out for that.
