I am 55 yrs. old. I have been a user of eye makeup all my life. I have never used anything but good old Vaseline. It doesn`t sting the eyes, helps moisturize the " laugh lines" around your eyes and its cheap!! Be sure and remember to take out your contact lens if you wear them. it causes a little blurry vision!!

Mary Kay's Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover ($14.00) It gently removes eye makeup, including waterproof mascara, without tugging or pulling the delicate skin in the eye area. Formula does not leave skin feeling dry. And it's safe for contact lenses too!

There are lots of things on the market but if you don't want something that stings your eyes you can use vaseline. Antoher thing you can use is baby wipes. I know it sound crazy but they are made to be gentle because they are used on babies so they tend not to contain the harsh chemicals. I hope this helps.

I use Zum Rub ~ Almond scented. It works wonderful, I think you can get some of their products at drugstore.com. Also Avon's eye makeup remover, the lotion one. Not the oily one, it stings.
