- Even if no Israeli soldiers were snatched, Israel was going anyway to "punish" Lebanon and Hizbullah because they defeated its army and forced it to get out of southern Lebanon like mice?

You got it right. I really do not understand Israel's "brutality" and "fear" tactics.
Why the Israelis do not adopt the harmonious policy, that "shares" the land with the Arabs...
The Israelis drove the Arabs out, instead of living together and allow them the religious freedom...
Yet the U.S. is one of the strongest supporters of Israel.
The PLO, Hamas, Fatah, etc. are the terrorists, but I can understand their desparation... after all, they all are humans.
I believe Israel is overreacting this time. The Israelis could have had negotiation.
Remember, the Southern part of Lebanon is NOT controlled by the Lebanese government. The Israelis know that too, but they were too busy invading the state and spread the violence.
Why don't the Israelis stop being barbaric?

Well, we know all that because we live on the other side of the river, where we know all the ruthless actions that are taken against people in Gaza and Lebanon, but in the west there is no way to convince people who the real terrorist is, and who is responsible for all the wars in the area, people are brain washed , and they do not care about Palestinians who are deprived of all the necessities , all they see is Israel and the right to defend!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh please, just see that they are just murderers, blowing themselves in the market is the only way for Palestinians to defend themselves, they have no weapons , only the stones they throw at a huge tank, Palestine is their country and they have rights............

If you want to blame anyone for hardships i suggest you start at the top of the Islamic ruling parties in that country who would rather destroy Israel than provide for their own people.
Talk to the Mullahs in charge who would rather buy missiles from iran than provide jobs and decent living conditions for their people.

I have never heard of any Israeli citizen walking into a crowded Lebanese Market or restaurant and blowing themselves up and killing many innocent men, women and children. Who's the criminal? It's called self defense.
