Its a good magazine and all, like they have good makeup tips, but y do they make it seem like women are desperate and hard up? Like, tips on how to keep your man and how to make him love you.... Jane is a more screw you all, we are women mag. Do you agree?

Yes, I agree that Cosmopolitan is all about how to please your man. Blah,blah,blah. There is more to me than sex and being pleasing.

I absolutely love the magazine.. like i hate most magazines but this one i actually read lol cause it's not too much about celebrities. I think it's incredible but when i think of it, it's true. they make women seem soo desperate. Maybe they exaggerate a little but it's true, many women that read that magazine (18-24) are pretty desperate for the right guy. Also, there are so many break-ups these days so they just try to help make people stay together and not get sick of their relationship. And also, this magazine sells right now! so i sorta get them.. why would they change it if they're making a good profit.
But i still do agree with you.. they exaggerate the whole women being desperate.♥

Personally, I find Cosmopolitan very informative and entertaining. The articles have me flipping the pages. I have never read Jane so I can't compare. Also, I don't think that Cosmopolitan acts like all women are hard up. I think that Cosmopolitan addresses topics that most women want to know about but have few sources that will offer real info.

I buy it the odd time because its like entertainment. I dont really take it seriously, I think that most of it is probably made up because honestly who really has the time and effort to live like that. Nobody can possibly be that promiscuous unless theyre working the streets! But its sort of fun to read just to be simply entertained. I dont really like any one section better than the others just glance through it. I do like the November men special lol, just to see who's good looking every year.

i agree because with this magazine u can express how u feel and still relate to real life situations with this magazine on how to keep a man and how to show him how u love him and respect him.

cosmo is for women who haven't had a date in a while and how to keep him once you've found him. I think you have to be desperate to read it as an adult, but hey it's entertainment. No matter how badly done.

I read it sometimes, but i usually read newspapers. The reason that i read cosmo is because i think deep down inside it makes me feel accepted by the female community. it plays on what women feel they need to know, and yeh it plays on our insecurities.

me just love it its all the trash i need for the month,and you need to take the issues with a grain of salt...after all they write them to sell the magazine.
