I have gone on trips with several people and then gone out to the beach alone, but not on a trip to the beach alone. You could do that, I would consider doing that myself. The only thing I woud think about is what beach I was going to (somewhere with a lot of people and not to much crime) and I wouldn't consider staying out on the beach alone and late through the night.

no offense, but how old are you? Obviously you wouldn't want to go anywhere without a friend or parent if you're under 16, but....
there're lots of strange and perverted people out there, and they don't have brains when it comes to certain situations.
