Not always if it is used right. But it can be for many people here on earth. With money there is power and greed and a host of bad things attached to it. Now in case you "strike it rich" in the lottery let's say, you could use it for something good, like to buy yourself your own house or put it away for your kids or grandkids college funds or give it to charity or something like that. But where some people get into trouble with it is by blowing it on non sense spending or flaunting it or bragging they have it and so on........
What do you think? Do you think money is the root of all evil?

I would have to disagree. I think power is the root to all evil. True in many cases you have to gain money to gain power but that alone does not create evil. For money to be the root it would have to be only used in evil ways and that would not be true. Money helps feed staving people or heal people. where as power the more you have the more you want and it is a controlling factor that it feeds off of. Although money can help you gain power it doesn't have to. You can just slowly build power from fear which many in history has done. It is known that he who has power has control and he who has control become corrupted until someone comes along that is more powerful to take it's place.

Money is not endowed with life or spirit, so it can not be blame for evil actions. The choices people make may be the root to all evil.

No. Like a previous poster said, you didn't even get the cliche' right. It's the love of money that's the root of all evil. It's amazing how many people screw up a cliche' like that and end up believing the wrong version.

No, evil is in your mind. If u have a evil mind, u shall find out some thing else as an excuse to do your evil deeds( for example women or some thing else like fame). If you have a balanced mind then u shall make adjustments according to the amount of money u have, be it plenty or scarcity.
