About six months ago I started getting pimples on the bottom of my breasts. I have a yearly exam at the health department and they said it was nothing to worry about, but I don't know what's causing them. I haven't been doing anything different and I don't wear sweaty bras or anything like that. What can I do to get rid of them. I scrub until the area turns red when I shower. Please only serious comments about this. I am feeling really bad about this and very unattractive. Some of the pimples are also very sore. Please help :(

Sorry to tell you that it happens as we age. The best thing I've found is an Olay cleanser that has witchazel in it. Makes an enormous difference. I just use it in the bath.

Stop scrubbing so much! It won't help and will only make things worse. Don't feel bad about it, either. Everyone's skin has pores all over it, and any one of those pores can get clogged with bacteria and cause a pimple. Breakouts aren't limited to just the face like a lot of people think.

Anyway, use a benzoyl peroxide 10% cream on the area, like Clearasil or any other one that has the 10%. It should clear up on its own in a couple of weeks -- if you don't scrub the area!

If you are sweaty under your breasts, you could try using a medicated powder like Gold Bond on the area before you put your bra on in the morning.

Good luck, and take good care of yourself.

because there is hardly any air underneath there. so even when you don´t really sweat, the air still does not circulate properly and obviously you have a sensitive skin and that leads to the same effect as a nappy rash.
Buy a comfortable bra that "holds up" your breasts in a way, that they do not touch the upper belly anymore. I don´t know your cup size, but you may also try a sort of wonderbra with supporters.
Then - do NOT scrub that area. Just give it a soft cleansing with some skin-friendly lotion and make sure to dry the area well. Moisture is your worst enemy here.
you can also use baby powder. That keeps your skin dry and improves the healing process. Good luck!

Well everyone sweats, even if you don't notice it build up. And that can cause you to get acne. Are you using a different soap or laundry detergent? Don't scrub the area red that will only irritate it more and cause it to last longer and get worse. Why not try some oil pads or something like dove foaming facials for acne sensitive skin. Good luck! I hope this helps!!!

Get Pro Activ....it really does work. The excess scrubbing is probably only irritating them more, so I would let up on that. Also, don't use a deoderant soap in that area, it's way to harsh on areas that are prone to breakouts. Best of luck.

Yeah I know the feeling, I use to get the same thing. I use clearasil acne cleanser and a body scrub to exfoliate that area everyday but its gentle. that helped mine go away. i also try to clean the area with an astringent whenever i am feeling sweaty. good luck.

First of all I would quit scrubbing them until they turn red because it will only make them worse, and then I would give them time to see if they have gone away. I wouldn't use deodorant soap but regular soap to keep them, at least, clean.

Could it be some form of heat rash? You could try wearing a sports bra.. or some kind of bra that might let your breasts get more air.
