things didn't work out for various reasons, then the person emails you a midi of themselves singing the song "Still" by Lionel Ritchie...and disappears. How would you take this? Would you try to contact them, or move on?

Move on. If he "still" was interested, he would have found you already. He was having fun.

I was in a long-distance relationship for two years, and it didnt work out, anytime a person emails u & all of a sudden stops talking to you its time to move on honey dont be a fool for this dude, go out make new friends & eventually someone may pop up:)

Just ask yourself the question: what do you feel like doing?
For me, I know it would drive me crazy until I found out his motives, so I would definitely contact him, even if only to talk about the reason why he sang the song to me.
But if you're not interested in renewing the relationship, and not as obsessive as I am about knowing why, then chalk it up as something to smile about.

If it's long distance then there isn't really a chance of "being together" now is there? Let it go and move on.

move on if he comes basck in your life and you still have feelings then go from there. never ever put you life on hold for someone who has not committed.
