I am looking for books like gossip girl and the it girl, clique, etc. But these are books for the younger generation. (14-18) i was looking for a good book series like those for women in their early 20's. Any other good reads like those?

One you might like is Emily Ever After by Ann Dayton. I loved it.most chick lit I don't like, but that one was great. I finished it in 3 days. I have never read gossip girl books so I don't know exactly what type you are talking about. Here are some that I, a twenty something, love:
The Blue Bottle Club by Penelope Stokes
The Day of the Storm by Rosamunde Pilcher
Christy by Catherine Marshall
Bookends by Liz Curtis Higgs (she is a funny author I can't wait to read Mixed Signals)
any Love Inspired romance novel
Looking For Cassandra Jane by Melody Carlson(she mainly writes for teens, but I think you'd like her books)

possibly you ought to attempt some classics, like Jane Austen. She empowers the female parent in the nineteenth century. For a 20 365 days previous i might propose some thing radical nonetheless, like Trainspotting or a Clockwork Orange.

Yep those are really good standards to base your social education on.

Why don't you break away from the crowd and go for something intelligent. Like read one non-fiction book a month. Read a newspaper and know what's happening in the world.

Good Luck
