If you're curious about radiation and what it does to you, here's an extremely helpful site. http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-6602_7-5020355-1.html

Visit it and you can find out what SAR level your phone is.

Hope I helped.

If you hold anything tightly to your head, it will get hot - that's your body heat doing that. Also, it's true that the phone may bet a little warm, because it is using the battery a lot, just like a laptop - this generates heat.

However, what a lot of people are worried about is the microwaves that the phone uses to communicate with the phone company. This energy is not strong enough to harm you - it has to be very strong, what they call 'ionizing radiation,' that is strong enough to do genetic damage. The antenna that a radio station uses to broadcast, or the radar entenna for the weather service, is strong enough to hurt you (which is why they don't want people trespassing), but your tiny mobile phone is not nearly strong enough to hurt you.

Don't worry.

I don't know who has been telling you this nonsense. The radiation from a mobile is very low, in fact it would take years of usage to create any effect. I worked for years on high power transmitters and I'm still here, so I wouldn't worry.
About your ear getting hot ....put your hand over your ear for a few minutes....it gets hot. Think about it.

many many surveys by many people who have charged lots of money have been done. the majority will tell you that there is no real danger of mobiles or transmitters. you could stick a brick to your ear for a long time and that would make your ear hot even though we are surrounded by them.

There hasn't been any definitive information regarding what it can do. There is some supposition that it could cause heating and eventually brain tumors as a secondary cause.
