I got pregnant at 15 and was not close with my parents. I told them and they put me in a home and made me give up the baby for adoption. As I am older I miss my child and think of her often. I also realize that I could never at that age handled all of the responsiblity. An abortion was out of the question, as I do not believe in it. I pray for you that you are close to your parents and they will help you figure out what is best for you and your baby. Things have changed so much over the years and people are not so critical and judgemental as they were when I had my baby girl. Tell you mother right away so you can aleast get the medical help your baby needs. What ever you decide to do never give up on your education you will need it no matter what, and there are schools that let you attend while pregnant. Good luck to you....

Sometimes, we want to say that we make plans in our lives that we will live by but, then there are them times when your plans do not come out the way we want them, but we must live with them anyway.
I was 16 years-old when (my then bf & I) decided that we wanted a baby. for the next following year we did all that two teenagers could do to make a baby, nothing happen.
But the relationship started changing, and we end the relationship (he cheated) After I moved out of his place and back in with my dad and his new wife I actually thought to myself that it was a good thing that we did not have the baby, now I can go back to school and get my life on the right track, That was the plan, when I missed my period for that I took a test and found out that I ended up pregnant anyway, Now here I am with a baby coming soon and the guy & I are no longer together, so what do you think ended up happening?
I ended up rasing that baby by myself, her father no where around, the reason why I am telling you this story is because we always think that we know what it is we plan to do but, it doesn't always end up like that.
So with saying all of that just remember that even if that guy you planned on being with isn't always there, your parents will be, so just be honest and ready to get the lecture they offer, they may be a little disappointed but, they will always love you and be there for you unless you are not willing to listen to what they may have to say to you okay?
Just be open and honest and let them know that you love them and appericate them and their wisdom. because you will need it in your future.
Good Luck

Well, I had a baby at 18 and another at 19. Yes they have the same father and we work to support them, not tax payers. We're planning on having a third child in about 3 years. My kids are 27 months and 15 months now. Wait until you're about 23. To tell your parents, just say "mom and dad, I'm pregnant." They might be mad and they might not.

i'm planning on having a baby. i'm 33
just a little advice... enjoy your childhood, every moment of it. you will never get the freedom of childhood back. once you're an adult (and having a child is an adult job) you will have to be responsible for the rest of your life...
fact: minimum wage job, 15 hrs a week (state max for school age child whether you're a drop out or not) will allow you to bring home about $60.00 after taxes.
diapers weekly $15.00
formula weekly $27.00
baby clothing weekly $15.00
how to pay for day care for those 15 hours at $2.50 per hour...
look... there's no money left to buy cute baby clothes... or buy baby pictures... or buy yourself clothes... no money or time to go out with your friends.
guys will look at you as a "pregnancy trap" waiting to happen to them too!
wait until you've at least graduated from high school to get pregnant so you can at least look back and have that accomplishment... and then at that point you can at least get minimum wage for 40 hrs per week... but expect to spend $100 per week at that time for day care for baby!
PLEASE WAIT

If you are old enough to get pregnant you are old enough to tell your parents. And its very selfish of you because your child will suffer and your parents will have to help you raise the child.
