You need a fairly tall bike, then. The tallest are the Triumphs, but they dont do 125s, so I would suggest one of the Harley look-alikes, like the Renegade; Honda are always the very best. Whatever you dont get a Baimo!!!!!! They look cool, but thats all. Trials bikes are NOT a good idea for a learner, because the centre of gravity and weightratio of the bike is configured for somebody standing up on the pedals, not sitting on the seat. They are great fun once you can ride, but dont get one to learn on. May your god watch over you.

if you are over six foot tall you are going to look a bit silly on a road bike, try a bike with trail bike styling, longer forks and a higher seat. All the major makers make something suitable

My brother and I bought 2 new bikes for a summer vacation. His 1200 Bandit leaked gas and ruined the motor before it got 2000 miles. We asked Suzuki to replace the motor so we could go on vacation. They said it’s to expensive and would cost $3000. After 4 months and the vacation gone they got the motor rebuilt at a their cost of $3700. The dealer wanted to replace the motor but Suzuki squashed that. The gas stained cases and burnt exhaust pipes were not replaced. The bike got nicked and scratched all over from being apart for so long. The rep rode it and looked at it, then said it’ good as new. It ran like crap and looked worse. We called Japan for nothing, and even wrote the US CEO all for nothing. We spent $15,000 for the bikes to get Fd. We spent our vacation hassling with Suzuki, and not one person there gave a F! Beware Suzuki’s warranty is not worth the paper it’s printed on! Buy one of their lemons are get Fd like we did!

I don't like the tone of your question and have decided to just forgive you for the mocking and mean treatment of Vietnam Vets. I lived for three years in a bamboo cage on my knees. I was eventually released by a sweep that was done by the military. I am now permanently disabled and I used to be fabuloous ball room dancer. Ahh those days are all over. Remember to be kind and friendly to everyone online for you do not know who has served and been beaten by the Viet Cong while living as a prisoner. Thanks

I think the Honda Varadero 125 would suit you fine. One of the biggest 125's you can buy, and usually highly rated by bike magazine reviews.
