The segment od DNA below has been been processed of transcription with a missing half with mRNA:
- T A C T G T G C A A T G C A A T T -
transcripted into:
ATGACACGCTTACGTTAA

b) How many nucleotides are there in this mRNA ?
ATGACACGCTTACGTTAA

c)How many codons are there as well?

d) What are the tRNA anticodons that will bond with the mRNA codons?

e)and FINALLY what would the correct sequence of amino acids coded for by this mRNA?

b. 18 Your m-RNA is incorrect. RNA does not contain T it is replaced with U.
This should be the RNA: A U G A C A C G U U A C G U U A A

c. 6

d. T-RNA = UAC UGU GCG AAU GCA AUU

e. You can look this up using your chart.

You've already got some answers on this question some days ago.
As mentioned in a previous answer your question is poorly formulated...especially regarding the orientation of your mRNA and DNA strand.

By the way, DNA is transcribed and not transctipted into mRNA
and RNA has U instead of T...

Finally I'd agree that if you just want to check your solution then provide it and we can tell you if it's correct or not.

If you want help with your homework and want it to be checked, then give your answer and explanation and people like me will be glad to help. Otherwise, nothing is gained by just giving you answers.
