my son has, he works in the music industry as a professional photographer. although the artist may love your music, it doesn't mean anything, it's the label that has the final say. unfortunately, they only play about 10 bands on the radio at a time, so most bands don't stand a chance. my son, has however, been very successful with his music, he just isn't a national band. he has done soundtracks for movies, voice overs, played with some of the biggest bands in the world including linkin park and disturbed. he is very famous among the famous but he still doesn't have major label backing.
