No matter what religion, lifestyle, height, weight one is should not matter Love is love and I feel great about it! I really don't mind interracial dating. I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget the culture of America and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wondrous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremely interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others because they are of any color.

Hey sunshine (love the name btw)..
Well i don't think that the "hole" black community will hate you lol..but you are right some do have race issues..but if I'm not mistaking it's not only the blacks..i mean there are some Hispanics who don't approve dating someone of another race, as there are also some whites ..So i guess it mostly depends on the person and his or her background..how they were raised and all...I have no problem with races at all lol...I'm dating a European dude and i happen to be African..We like each other and that is all that matters. Well we do get a few weird looks when we hold hands on the street but if we don't care they shouldn't either..Our color never was a problem, as we know that that's they way we came into this world and there is no way to change that.
Take care.

I'm a Spanish Indian from Puerto Rico. When I used to live in Puerto Rico, I did not know about colors. In Puerto Rico we have all colors so for me it is a normal life. We never called a black person black or a white person white, either was Mrs. or Sir.
But when I moved to America, I notice how white, black, Hispanics and other races, are divided. They look at each other like they were different creatures, like the Lion and the Zebra, or the Elephant and the mouse. Amazing. I can't believe how people can live this way, when we all are flesh, blood and water.
The color of the skin is just like colors inside a box of crayon. Thanks God crayons don't have a soul..lol. Other wise they would fight against each other.

I agree it should never be the tone of ones outer shell that is the deciding factor. But that which is on the inside and only the inside that matter. We humans build walls that never should be built and this ever present tone of skin seems to always become an issue. many keep these walls up but for those that want this to end must also teach this to others kill the racist from the start and make sure you teach them to carry on this new idea and how important it is to keep it spreading.

I like a black guy and i am 50%arabic and 50% american Yesterday i was standing out side talking to him and he was holdin me and i had 2 white older men just drive my giving us a nasty look, and his neighbor came outside and was watching us. It happens you can't control everyone, i just waved to the 2 white guys like "thanks for watching" Don't care what people have to say. Race does not matter to me either :) You go girl!

you can date who you want, you just have to get over wanting everyone to accept it cuzz they wont. as far as black people opposing it more, it just seems like that cuzz they are the ones who will direct their looks at you cuzz you are in their race. believe me, his race is probably doing the same thing to him. there are people from all races that are against inter racial dating. they just make their opinions known to the person in their same race. if he's white, i'm sure he has some buddies, co workers, and family that are against him being with you.
ignorance, believe it or not, is not just limited to the black race sweety

I know it may seem like that to you, but I'm half hispanic and half white and my white family hated it when my mom had me. they are very strict on who you're supposed to date. It's not only blacks but whites as well. You are not alone trust me.
