Tattoos are kind of permanent, and while you think he is the one, life has a way of changing...What if he was the one, but you split or he died ( could happen), and your next boyfriend or husband didn't like the tattoo of somebody's elses name on you. Why not buy a chain, or a ring with this guys name on it, and wear it all you want?

I personally would not put any mans name on my body. I have been married for 22 years and still wouldn't. I am thinking of getting one with my kids names on it.You can just never be sure with a man. That is my personal opinion.

To put a b/f's name tattoo on yourself it possibly the worst idea in the world! Think about Johnny Depp when he had Winona Ryders name tattoo'd on his arm. He had to have it altered. lol Even Angelina Jolie did it..with Billy Bob Thornton.. they thought they were SO in love.. look how that turned out.

yeah maybe he is the one , don't get me wrong, but what if you do get his name , and in a few years when you brake up then you will have his name , then you happen to meet another guy then what will you do ? you will probably put his name under your ex's it will look like you are keeping score of your past men, please think about that tattoos are for ever, don;t get his name get something else like a butterfly or a rose or lion claws scratching like mine, Good luck honey,

you could tattoo someones name on your body, but it won't be of a name of your boyfriend. if i were to get a name on my body tattooed, it would be of a family member who has passed away or someone who is living

Don't tattoo any man's name on your body unless it's washable. The world is FULL of divorced women who thought "he was the one".

A tatoo is a permanent form of identification...and not to be taken lightly. I am sure your "other" would be very flattered...on the other hand...it could make him squeamish; because you are communicating "Permanance". Make sure he is as committed as you are. It might make him nervous. If you both intend to tie the knot...then do it for a special occassion...you want him to get the full appreciation for it...and for this symbol of Love.

No way. You never know. Well, I guess you could, so long as you could cover it up with another tattoo.

No. You never know what might happen and then you'll be stuck with that persons name on you. And you shouldn't brand yourself like a cow
