My mom was having her '' alone time'' and I was going in to ask a question. I saw my mom picking her nose and eating what she got. What should I do?

" Alone Time" so you invaded her space so but out of it and leave it alone. Then find something to do with your spare time and maybe the next time, knock or announce your entering the room that is the respectful thing to do

Well, Sassy, that depends on whether or not your mother saw you see her eat her own snot. It also depends on your own habits... are you a secret snot eater as well? If mom knows she's busted, well the best thing you can say is "You are so BUSTED. You're lucky I've done the same thing.... GOD we're gross." (Say this whether you you've eaten you're own snot or not. If you have never eaten your own snot, you can do a quick dig, try it out, and call the whole experience a worthy sacrifice to honesty and your relationship with Mom...or you can lie.)
If Mom doesn't know she's busted, well then let it go. Chances are she's seen or heard you do something even more embarrassing and done you the just favor of never mentioning it.

Leave her alone.. she's probably been doing it all her life so she's ingested TONS of boogers and snot by now.. and I'm guessing she's still healthy. She knows that it's a nasty habit..and probably feels weird because she knows you saw her. It may be good blackmail someday or a low blow in a heated argument.. LMAO! (just kidding don't do that to your mom). It's not like you saw her burying a body.. it's a booger..forget about it.

Simply tell her how disgusting it is. LOL As funny as it sounds if my mom ever did that I would sit her down and remind her of all the times she use to yell at us for picking ours. LOL And let her know how unhealthy it is. If you don't tell her she will never know.

every time you are around her pick your nose and pretend to eat it and when she gets on to you just say well you do it so there must be nothing wrong with it

Catch her on cam and show it to her! A person always reacts better to seeing herself doing things. That's the best advise I could give you!
