There's allsorts out there, I work within the music industry and I would currently recommend Muse-Black Holes & Revelations, also the Lily Allen CD (released tomorrow) will be a massive seller :)

Plan B (English Eminem with acoustic guitar accompaniment): Vega4 (Irish and a lot like Radiohead/ Muse): the new Cat Power album (The Greatest): 747s: The Cribs: The new Midlake album is awesome in a Flaming Lips style: The Howling Bells: The new Razorlight album likely to be a serious contender for best guitar album ever: the new Muse: the two best bands in Sheffield (no not the tedious Monkeys) - The Long Blondes and Reverend and the Makers: Sigur Ros (if you haven't discovered them yet): The Delays.... a good suggestion in Kate Rusby, and if you enjoy that try Eliza Carthy too..... ooohh so much music so little time
