A lot of people got the right answer here - you, the individual.
Now the next thing people hopefully will figure out that they only way to exercise that power is thru your currency. Some out there will say elected officials, blah blah, but that also comes down to money. You pay taxes so you are electing someone to spend your power - your money. This is why we are in such a pickle globally - government and religion get a lot of our money/power and they hold most of the information. When you've got the power and the info you can do anything - you can prevent all competition. It's time for individuals to realize and take back their power instead of brainlessly giving it away.
In the case of USA for example:
Now maybe is the time to reevaluate what you are getting for your money. Is pumping our money into the federal government the best use of our money? Some say yes - some no. Personally, I see a lot of legacy/nepotism in the Federal government like the Kennedys. Generation after generation of the same families spread through our government - and our fed keeps growing and becoming stagnant. Maybe it's time to consider moving the money, property and power back to the private sector or the states like education for example? Each individual needs to think about it. Are we in the best system - because we can change it - it's all ours. So what if it's like wresting a honey pot from the bear - I need the honey to make my life productive and happy.

You are, because you have the ability to reason, to see injustice and to make it known to others. Power does not come from money, nor from the barrel of a gun. It arises from each person sharing a common goal, enemy or truth. There is no such thing as a single person in power they have a cadre of men behind them in servitude to impose their will, power is the ultimate illusion and the master of nothing. All men of power in the past are now dead, and they took no power with them when they died. Man is man, power is power, and greed corrupts everything. Humanity must come to the realization as a whole, that we cannot give one person power over us. If we do we deserve what we get.
