i must first doubt existence and must follow skepticism....i can doubt everything around me...i can also doubt the existence of doubt but doing so i will be doubting. therefore "doubting" is an ever existent entity ... so we doubt - think..therefore we exist. the doubting of the table provides skepticism.

We don't really, our eyes and all of our senses can be deceiving us, but we do experience tables and many people agree on a definition and shared experience of tables, so it's better to move on from this type of thinking and tackle some tougher issues. What can I do to make things better? Would be a good start.

I don't know a table exists. My eyes might be playing a trick on me, or they might not be. I don't know that my eyes exist. I don't know that I exist. I don't know that there is such a thing as a trick.

I once put a thousand tables on the head of a pin. Ergo, tables exist.
