never thought to give it to her but she wanted one so i gave her one and now she is in love. lol. the cheese inside is ok for her though right? its just the frozen stuff u get in a bag in the freezer section. with olive oil, garlic, scallions celery and peppers but she just eats the tortellini with the olive oil on it. I know i should do portion controls and all that but what is too much cause its a cheese product dont wanna bind her up.

Sounds OK but variety is the spice of life + good in the diet too. Just bought Annabel Karmel's book on feeding baby + great tips in there. Usually focusing on one food is because other things aren't tried. Good luck + good news is she is eating, some kids don't without a lot of fuss!

You never know what their gonna like. My 16 month old daughter loves pickles, weird huh? I think tortellini salad sounds fine. Of course you should always watch portions, but there's nothing in that salad that would harm her.

By all means, let her enjoy! Just besure she gets veggies, too, to keep things moving. A lot kids love steamed broccoli or sweet peas which are great with tortellini.
