Woo......if we all went deaf and blind....The gasoline "shortage" would surely cease to be a problem..........Irritating car salesmen , toll bridges,five o,clock traffic and drive by shootings would become extinct. Gossip , soap operas,talk shows,and computers would be of no significance. hm mm,families would become closer maybe, we might care and depend on those around us more. Maybe there is something to the saying "Wake up and smell the roses" Very good question I'll give it more thought!

actually, society would probably be a lot better and less judgemental. If everyone was deaf, there would be no racism issues because you couldn't see who you are talking to; instead of judging a person based on how they sound or look you'd be forced to get to know them for their other attributes and characteristics, like smell, touch, and their personalities..
