It is more likely that you have urinated slightly. It's an unpleasant side-effect that occurs late in some pregnancies. Whenever you do anything that strains those muscles (coughing, sneezing, vomiting, laughing hard, picking up something heavy) it is possible to leak a bit of urine due to weakened pelvic muscles that are loosening for the impending birth.
With that said, it is possible, though much less likely that you water has broken. With this in mind, call your doctor immediately. She will most likely ask you different questions about the occurence to deduce whether your water has broken or not.
Something to keep in mind, though, is that if your water broke it should not stop so quickly after starting. Often, when you sit or lay down, the trickle will pick back up if your water has truly broken. When you stand up the flow will stop, as gravity is helping your baby's head block the exit.
Either way, call your doctor just to be on the safe side. If your water has broken, you will need to get to the hospital very soon.
Good Luck and Congratulations on the impending arrival of your little bundle of joy!

I'm 38 weeks and the same thing happened to me the other day. Turns out I just peed! Recalling my first labor, you'll know when your water breaks! The throwing up probably caused the baby to bump your bladder causing the leak. It happens to me when I cough or sneeze really hard. Water breaking is like a water balloon breaking and falling to the floor. You'll know it. Still, some women do have slow leaks so if you're really concerned, call the doctor. He might check the fluid level with an extra unltrasound which is always fun anyway.

If you were throwing up and pushing on your stomach quite a bit, you might just have urinated. When your water breaks it is a clear liquid...normally. When your water breaks it's not just a bit of water it's usually quite a bit and continuous. Without more details on the liquid you felt running down your leg I just can't tell. However, if the liquid has not been running continuously, then it's not your water breaking.

Calm down, and check in with the doctor. Most doctors have you wait at home until your contractions are 5 minutes apart. But that applies to women who are full term, and in your case, it's hard to tell exactly how far along you are. (However, I suspect that they can tell how far you are by how the baby looks on ultrasound.) Anyway, for women who are not full term, most doctors want to know if you're having more than 4 contractions an hour. Call your doctor to ask what's up, and let her/him know how you're feeling. Just because you haven't lost your plug doesn't mean your not going into labor. Don't freak yourself out -- just call the doc. Everything's going to be fine.

I would call my doctor right now to be on the safe side. They will tell you if you need to come down and be checked out. Always do what is safe for the baby. There is usualy a plug of mucus that will come before your water breaks. Sometimes you can also leak, which needs to be checked by a doctor.

Yes, that sounds possible.
If you think there's a chance your water broke, you need to go to the hospital. A baby needs to be born within a day of the water breaking do bacteria and the loss of the clean environment.
Go to the hospital and good luck!

You are probably fine. But if it keeps leaking you should go get checked. Sometime when you cough to hard or throw up the pressure of that and the baby actually makes you pee some. But if you are worried go get checked just for piece of mind. You do not need any extra stress right now.

It could be urine, because the bladder does get weaker. Hopefully you are under the care of a Dr. The Dr will probably want you to be checked to make sure it is not the water bag rupturing. Call right away...
Good luck!

when ur that far along its possible to have let ur water break, but ur gonna feel a constant trickle of water it wont stop....more than likely u strained so hard while vomiting that u wet urself (baby is too close to bladder so theres always constant pressure ) i use to vomit at night and strain really hard too. If u start to experience contractions i would call ur physician.
